ERIN LI | DIRECTOR, CO-WRITER, PRODUCER

SHOOT named Li as an up-and-coming helmer to watch in their worldwide search for the next generation of film and commercial directors. Li's work was also curated for SourceECreative's The Scout, which showcases unsigned auteurs. Li has directed content for General Electric, Call of Duty, and Omaze, and her work has been commissioned by Film Independent and featured on Upworthy, Huffington Post and Voto Latino. Her films have also screened at Slamdance, SITGES International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, LACMA Young Directors Night, Los Angeles Film Festival, American Cinematheque, Comic-Con, the Academy for Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, and been recognized as a Vimeo Staff Pick and Hammer-to-Nail Finalist. Li has also helped produce eight feature documentary films. She most recently co-produced the Academy short-listed TALES OF THE GRIM SLEEPER for HBO.

ALLISON LEE | CO-WRITER 

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Los Angeles, Lee attended University of Chicago where she was an inaugural member of Fire Escape Films. Lee returned to Los Angeles to receive her MFA in Film and TV Production from the USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. She has written, directed and produced numerous films including Trick Or Treat, which earned an aMedia Ammy Award nomination for Best Short Film and premiered on PBS. Her professional experience includes NBC Universal and DreamWorks. A recipient of the Media Action Network for Asian Americans Scholarship and an Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences Grant, Lee was named a writing fellow in Film Independent's Project Involve 2012. Recently, her feature script The Poser was shortlisted for the Sundance Screenwriters Lab.

KAZ KIPP | PRODUCER 

Kipp belongs to the Nez Perce and Umatilla Tribes and was born and raised in Los Angeles. She has produced award winning short films and multimedia content featured on Comedy Central's atom.com, IFC, and the Sundance Channel. She produced the winning trailer of FOX’s Asian Pacific Islanders TV Pilot Shootout contest and is a recipient of the Time Warner Foundation Native Producing Fellowship through the Sundance Institute’s Native Initiative. She has garnered additional producing fellowships through the Producer’s Guild of America’s The Power of Diversity Workshop, Film Independent’s Producing Lab and Project: Involve and ABC/Disney’s Native American IMPACT program.

GREGORY CHOU | PRODUCER

Producer Gregory Chou is President of Rumble Entertainment, the Los Angeles-based production company that finances and produces motion pictures in association with Caspian Media Capital. Previously, Chou was Chief Operating Officer of FilmEngine Entertainment, helping lead the creative, strategic, and business efforts of the company. FilmEngine has produced fourteen feature films including THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT, LUCKY NUMBER SLEVIN, and THE RUM DIARY. Chou also spent several years at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and Paradigm Agency focused on the packaging and financing of feature films, as well as the structuring of film funds and film finance companies. Prior to his work in the movie industry, Chou began his entertainment career in music, serving as an executive at Sony and Virgin Records America.  While at Sony, he led M&A and corporate initiatives including the launch of VEVO.com, the #1 most visited music website in the U.S.

Earlier, Chou spent nearly a decade on Wall Street, working in private equity and investment banking. On the entrepreneurial front, he is the founder of Delofted.com, a popular website covering the latest news, equipment, and apparel in golf.

Chou is a dual-degree graduate of the Wharton School and the School of Engineering & Applied Science, both at the University of Pennsylvania.  He also holds an MBA from Northwestern University.  A long-time resident of California, Chou was born and raised in New Jersey and currently lives in Los Angeles.

STEPHEN PARATORE | CO-PRODUCER 

Stephen is a Los Angeles based Producer with two feature films being distributed worldwide. Stephen’s latest feature film, Rubber Soul, had its World Premiere at the 2014 South By Southwest Film Festival. His first feature film, Turkey Bowl, was accepted into the 2011 SXSW Film Festival in the Emerging Visions category where it was sold to Tribeca Film Acquisitions and ESPN. Stephen holds an M.F.A. in Producing from the American Film Institute and is currently a Development Director for the legendary Godfather of the Television Movie, Chuck Fries at Chuck Fries Productions.

KRISTIN FIELDHOUSE | DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY 

Born in London, England, Kristin graduated from the University of Sussex with a Bachelors and Masters in International Development and Politics. She recently graduated with an MFA in cinematography from the American Film Institute. She began her professional career as a humanitarian aid worker in Africa and Asia, whilst continuing her childhood passion for stills photography. Later Kristin moved to Canada and trained as a camera technician for the International Cinematographers Guild and spent over five years working on feature films and television. She has been shooting as a cinematographer in the past few years and brings her unique set of experiences and travels as inspiration to her work. Recently Kristin was nominated for the Kodak Student Cinematography Award for her work on the short film THE MAN WHO FOUND DB COOPER.

SUSUMU KIMURA | EDITOR 

Born and raised in Tokyo, Susumu came to US to study film at Emerson College in Boston, discovered his love of film editing and decided to make it a career. He has since gone on to edit feature films, commercials and tv shows, including a short film "To The Bone." It played in film festivals such as Slamdance. His most recent project "Dear Susan" was selected for Vancouver International Film Festival.

NIKO VILAIVONGS | PRODUCTION DESIGNER

Niko Vilaivongs has Production Designed and Art Directed numerous feature films, television shows, and commercials. Niko is a member of the Art Directors Guild and has a degree in Fine Arts and a background in Theatre Set Design. She recently won the Best Production Design Award for Vanished in The 2013 Los Angeles Reel Festival.

ELENA FLORES | COSTUME DESIGNER

Elena Flores is a Midwest native and a graduate student of Costume Design at California State University, Long Beach.  She has an extensive background in both costume construction and design for theater. She is the recipient of the Allen Lee Hughes Fellowship of costuming from the Arena Stage of Washington, DC and designs her own custom apparel line, La Bella Figura.  Elena is happy to begin her work in the film community with Kepler X-47.  

ERIC MCAVOY | VFX SUPERVISOR 

Eric McAvoy is an experienced visual effects supervisor who was trained and mentored by Academy Award Winner Volker Engel and Emmy Award winning Visual Effects producer Marc Weigert. Eric has worked his way up to an on-set visual effects supervisor and directed 2nd unit visual effects for Criminal Minds, Judy Moody, Torchwood Miracle Day and the Pilot for Witches of East End. His film and television credits include Witches of East End, Psych, Homeland, Torchwood:Miracle Day, Judy Moody and the not Bummer Summer, Wall Street 2, Boardwalk Empire,  Dollhouse, Criminal Minds, True Blood, Terminator: The Sara Connor Chronicles, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Rush Hour 3, 24, E-Ring,  Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and Coronado.

ROBERT ALLAIRE | COMPOSER

Robert Allaire is an award-winning composer whose work exists at the intersection of music and sound design. His scores for television, film, and video games have garnered accolades from LA Weekly, The New York Times, and Animation Magazine.

He has written music for Emmy-winning American Horror Story and NBC’s reboot of the classic Ironside. His unique style has been heard in over 150 episodes of television across dozens of shows, while his work for film spans numerous narrative, experimental, and documentary genres. Robert’s collaboration with experimental filmmaker Betzy Bromberg on her hypnotic And the Night Illuminated the Night was described by the New York Times as “wonderfully scored” and selected as one of their best films of 2011.

In the video game world, Robert has worked closely with composer Garry Schyman (Bioshock, Dante’s Inferno) both as a co-composer and synth programmer. He was tapped to infuse a classic synth sound into Schyman’s Goldsmith-esque score for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, and has also contributed electronics and percussion to Schyman’s music for the famous Where The Hell is Matt? videos, which on YouTube have captured over 70 million views. 

Upcoming film projects include sci-fi thriller Immortal, and documentary Special Blood.

ANDREW CUMMINGS | LINE PRODUCER

Andrew has produced several projects that range from commercial spots to feature length films. As the CEO of Rediation Pictures, he provided insight that promoted team strengthening; executing the organizations goals and objectives. Through their curated slate and client portfolio, they have constructed a clear goal and strategy for the company’s future. Their inaugural film, IN BLOOM, has screened in over 8 festivals including Outfest, the largest LGBT film festival in the world, and Reeling Chicago International Film Festival. The film has received a warm reception from critics and audiences alike, finishing 2nd for the Bill Sherwood award for best first feature at Inside Out festival in Toronto, as well where fettered recently in the Chicago Sun-times. They are also happy to announce that their sales agent, Shoreline Entertainment, has recently reached an agreement on distribution with their Domestic Distributor, TLA Releasing; the leading LGBT film distributor in the world.
